Play your own moves
Do not use chess engines, AI recommendations, opening databases or another person's advice during live competitive games. Do not automate moves, manipulate ratings, arrange results, exploit bugs or coordinate accounts to gain an unfair advantage. Review and analysis after a game are different from assistance while it is running.
Respect other players
Harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual exploitation, scams, spam and disclosure of another person's private information are prohibited. Do not impersonate staff or pressure anyone to reveal credentials or send funds outside an official flow.
Reports and evidence
Reports should identify the player or content, relevant game, approximate time and a brief description. Do not publish private accusations or retaliate. The release must provide a working report action and monitored review queue; this draft does not claim that they already exist.
Blocking and filtering
Blocking must let users stop abusive contact, with enforcement by the service rather than only hiding a message locally. The backend currently has a basic word filter; that is not a complete moderation system. The release needs tested filtering, reporting, blocking and a team that can act on reports.
Penalties and appeals
Proposed measures include warnings, communication restrictions, game/tournament sanctions and account suspension, depending on evidence and severity. Confirm which measures are supported and how they are reviewed before publication. Appeals should include the account and decision reference and new relevant evidence. A monitored appeal contact and handling process are required.
